The new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) takes effect on 25th May 2018.
As a business which holds data relating to you/your company we are legally obliged to inform you of what data we hold for you. We hold Company Information within our system, this information includes Company Name & Contacts, Company Address, Landline/mobile telephone numbers, Email Addresses. We do not hold any bank details on our computers.
Information about your company is backed up and stored on Mandata TMS for loss prevention purposes. We use the data relating to your business to trade with your company and for general correspondence along with advertising work we have available.
To help us comply with GDPR, Mandata TMS has been modified in two ways:
- We are restricting the access to data contained in certain sensitive screens/fields.
- We have made changes to how the Sybase database is accessed by Mandata TMS and external systems (MS Excel, other 3rd party software) System administrators will have the ability to flag a user as ‘GDPR enabled’ which will give them access to the data contained in these fields.
